Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Monica different from other coaches and consultants?
Monica’s track record of unstoppable success speaks for itself. Her Emotional Independent perspective on how to help people show up fully in any situation “makes her work the obvious choice.” Unlike any other consultants her analysis develops specific recommendations to help them see the opportunity of their Next!Moment©. Her reliable tools and processes help attendees seize possibilities and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Define Emotional Independent Coaching? How is it different from other coaching processes?
Emotional Independent coaching puts together a wide variety of elements to help people create what we call Emotional Victories©. This process leads Monica’s clients towards an Independent Lifestyle, so that they can focus on the future instead of being caught up in the past.
Monica provides her clients with a wide array of strategic tools that includes consulting as well as coaching. We believe that our clients are best served when we use a combination of these two proven and effective methodologies. Consulting is appropriate to share knowledge and train, but then the role of coaching is to help people build their own proficiency and competence.
Is Emotional Independence coaching therapy?
No. Emotional Independence coaching is not therapy. We do not attempt to heal deep wounds or emotional trauma from the past. We focus on where the client is having a hard time making confident decisions right now to move forward from there. However, if we’re asked, we are pleased to refer clients to other professionals for issues that are better suited to a therapeutic relationship.
Why is it so important to conduct a Qualification Interview? Does everybody needs a qualification interview?
It’s very natural to want to know more about a process before deciding to invest time and resources. The qualification interview is simply an opportunity to learn how Emotional Independence can help your specific situation and to make sure that Emotional Independence is a good idea at this time. Monica is dedicated to fully serving her clients. Our clients are usually highly motivated and successful but looking for new challenges that bring them unstoppable results either at home or at work. They are ready to focus their energy into moving to the next level. This first interview will help you determine which one of our Emotional Independence programs best fits for you.

What are the logistics of Emotional Independence coaching?
It depends on the Emotional Independence program your organization needs. We invite you to visit our Emotional Independence for Organizations section to have a better understanding on this. However, there are several phases on each program which include interviews, phone calls, client’s submitting of material among other things.
Sometimes when Monica’s clients are in Leon Guanajuato, where she lives, they meet in person. Others occasionally fly to Leon to meet her or fly her to their cities. The rest of the time the sessions are held by phone and unlimited emails. There are some variations depending on her clients’ needs. You can expect powerful and clarifying questions, focus and fine-tuned planning tools and accountability. Monica has high expectations of you and your team and supports you thoroughly.

Monica’s work is customized. The fees are based upon project rather than hourly or daily fee. Because every client is different, there is no basic project fee, and are quoted individually. It is definitely not an inexpensive program. The terms are 50% deposit to set aside the date for your organization and remainder is due 72 hours before meeting the first time with Monica.
